PPIC MANAGER
Jawa Barat

Responsibilities:

Our client is a renowned Global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries.

For this client, Timeo-Performance is looking for PPIC Manager based in Bandung, Indonesia.

Job purpose:

  • Create and structure the whole PPIC department, plan activities to promote PPIC achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization to meet company strategic goal in OTIF, Sales and to ensure normal running of the factory.
  • Implement PPIC Strategy in a cross-functional organization.
  • Give visibility in the planning manufacturing of the enterprise.
  • Responsible of the good balance between Load and capacity of the factory.
  • Provide data to help the decision of new transfer activity.
  • Provide data to take decision for CAPEX investment.
  • Highlight lack of Manpower Vs Demand from the customer.
  • Define the smart KPI that will highlight progress, risk and allowed to anticipate PPIC issue early enough to find backup solution.
  • Main actor of the manufacturing strategy, initiator of the make or buy process.
  • Manage a team of 7 persons.

Main accountabilities:

  • PPIC Strategy: To formulate and manage PPIC strategy / objectives throughout organization also flow down customer quality strategy to meet company PPIC strategic goal.
  • PPIC Organisation; To implement and diffuse PPIC strategy, structure the departement, define the day to day work process, standardize and develop the best practice,using S&OP tool, ensure compliance to all requirements.
  • Customer relation: To Translate in a planning, customer demand, anticipation due to plan event, ramp up or ramp down phase. Coordinate external customer demand, internal demand and monitor supply request.
  • General Awareness and Personnel Development: To promote PPIC awareness into all personnel training program, To drive the performance appraisal process and help to identify potential capability of subordinates to contribute to the development of quality professional team in the department.
  • Process Improvement: To drive improvement throghout organization with all management team to trigger continuous improvement process.

Decision making:

  • Planning decision for the whole factory
  • Decide eventual increasing or decreasing production rate (buffer stock anticipation)
  • Define PPIC structure and day to day working process
  • Recruitment of personnel
  • Customer relation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in industrial Management / organization definition
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia is a must
  • MS Office literate
  • Qualified/Skilled in supply Chain tools (RFQ, Pareto,planning, MFA …)
  • Knowledge of MRP process
  • Organization sense
  • More than 2 years in Production planning or scheduling
  • Transversal Management
